This is an open call seeking graphic designs for an event logo proposed by a student. The goal is simple: create a graphic about First Nations, Inuit, and Métis broadcasting - the rest is up to your imagination. Submissions are invited that incorporate the event theme as part of the logo design.

Event Theme: The Future of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Broadcasting: Conversation & Convergence

The aim of these regional activities and the national conference is to bring together First Nations, Inuit, and Métis broadcasters, the general public, established and emerging scholars as well as civil society actors and organizations working in the areas of Indigenous issues, communications law, and media policy to discuss the main challenges facing the Indigenous broadcasting sector today in preparation for the upcoming CRTC policy review. With the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission or CRTC's Native Broadcasting Policy (CRTC 1990-89) review proposed to take place next year (CRTC, Three Year Plan 2016-2019), The Future of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Broadcasting: Conversation & Convergence will kick-start discussions in the practitioner, policy and academic worlds.

Students are allowed to submit any number of proposed logos. Submissions should be of original artworks and should not have been published in prints, internet, social media etc. There is no entry fee to participate.

Eligibility: Open worldwide both to students, without age limit.
